That's the stuff. You shouldn't need a huge bottle though...I've had my 8oz bottle for two or three years now. |

Just ordered it, 3.40 for the bottle and 6.75 for shipping  . Oh well it was still cheaper. |

I'm pretty sure Walmart carries Melafix, at least they used to? It's a handy thing to have around though so it's a worthwhile purchase for your bettas.  |

In the three days that it's been in the tank (i found it at walmart and cancelled the online order  , I woke up this morning and noticed a big difference already. I can see all the gaps filling in and on their way to being normal ;D I cant wait to see my guy with a full grown beautiful tail! |

Yes, I added many silk plants and put the heater next to the filter so he has a place to hide, and uses it well lol. Sometimes I cant find him! Then he just pops out and flares at me Sometimes I catch him chasing himself but its rare now, and I just tap the glass lightly and he just flares. Also I give him 10 minute of mirror time now, as to the 5 I was giving him. I'll post some pictures soon when I think you guys will notice a difference, because you dont see him every day ALSO, when I got spaz, he could only flare on one side, now he's a normal betta flaring on both sides I feel bad, I think he was brought up poorly, but hopefully I can make him all better. OK I got bored so here is a picture: As you can see the back of his fins are clear, I'm guessing this is the first step in the healing process.  Bigger Picture: Link |

Here is a picture update Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I was working. As you can see the see through fin recovery is doing awesome, and I think I see some color forming near the bottom One picture is blurry but I put it up anyways   |
