I have to tell you guys this story. My friend came over to my house and brought her six year old daughter, who has not been to my house in a while. Well anyway my friend's daughter came up to his tank and fell in love with Little Charlie, and he just fell in love with her as well. I have never seen him act the way he did tonight. He was just staring at her for a very long time, and he was just swimming around like it was dinner time (when it wasn't). He never gets that excited about me. It was just the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Needless to say, Little Charlie has them converted now. I am going to go tank and fish shopping with them soon and I am going to help them get the tank set up and the whole deal. Little Charlie and I are so excited, We just had to tell someone. ;D

Hi, I just wanted to say that's a lovely story...1 of my male bettas is the same way about my husband. I have his bowl (the fish, not my husband!) sitting next to the computer and when I'm on line he just casually wanders around and checks me out but nothing major. When Joe sits down he comes up to the top with his face against the glass, and within a couple of minutes he starts to blow bubbles! Don't know if he loves him or sees him as competition...I think he knows it is me who feeds him, and he is just trying to con him into thinking he is hungry, which I must say works!
