They're both veiltail bettas. The vast majority of the bettas you find in pet stores are veiltails.
Crowntails have large, evenly spread, spiky protrustions on all of their fins with the exception of their pectoral fins. Delta tails have a wide, fan-shaped spread that is symmetrical. Halfmoons are required to have a 180 caudal fin spread to be considered a halfmoon. Double-tails have an even, natural-looking split in the tail with an elongated dorsal fin and a shorter body. Spade-tails are a variant of the veiltail, and the caudal fin can either droop down like a normal veiltail or be held straight out like a delta tail. The caudal fin comes to a point in these fish. Lastly, a plakat is a short-finned betta.
There are plenty of variants on veiltails such as roundtails, spade tails, and combtails (spiky ends, but not long enough to call crowntail) and variants on halfmoons like rosetails (sometimes spiky, but more often with rounded edges and heavy finnage). You'll find that the number of variations of bettas are numerous and there are always new traits being bred.
