I bought this betta believing it was a male. But now I feel like it might just be a large female. He/she was flaring at all the other bettas at the pet store so I'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks, Kyle  |

To me its hard to tell. You gotta look for that little egg nub they have underneath...

The fins look kind of jagged at the ends so they might heal and grow longer?

Well, if he's a juvenile, they may get longer. Otherwise, my answer would be no, they won't get very much longer.
