Hi, I have another question.
Do bettas need dark to sleep? I am heating my tank with a light right now. Should I turn it off at night?

Bettas don't have eyelids, so when the light is on they won't really "sleep" I wouldn't leave the light on all the time. Is there any way to just put a heater in there instead, it would make the temp a lot more stable.

Fish do sleep at night so it would also help them with a proper day/night cycle =)
