Well, dropsy got the best of my Kyle last night. He had been looking better too. I was honestly surprised because he had been eating, was able to come up for air, still swam around a little to look at things. I really thought he was going to pull through it. I caught it quick, got him medicated. But last night when I went to medicate him he was gone. I had been sitting at my computer, I noticed I hadn't seen him much, but that's not too unusual. He'd been resting behind his plant a lot between visits to the surface.

Kyle was a sweety. He had so much energy and so much personality. He was always the first to beg me for food, and as soon as I fed him he'd beg me for more. He always brightened my day and was a joy to come home to after a day at work. It was always so great to have him doing his betta dance when I walked into the room. He was a joy and he'll be missed.

I'm very sorry Brandi. Kyle was such a beautiful boy. I'm sure he knows that you loved him and did all that you could for him. Dropsy can be so tough to treat, I'm sure he was at least more comfortable in your care.

Thanks everyone. I don't know what I'd do without this place. No one I know in person really knows what it's like to lose a betta and how easy it is to get attached to their cute little faces. They're such great little fish.
