Well since my old account was deleted I thought I would inform those people who didn't read it...
here it goes
I got my fishie from a pet shop, he was blue, purple and green with red pectrals. Mostly blue. I named him Spike after my favorite character on the hit tv show Buffy the vampire slayer. He was a happy funny fish but sfter the 9th month he got sick from what we thought was velvet but perhaps not. He was big when we got him and only got bigger. He was old and, being my first betta, I didn't know what was too much food so I over fed him and he had what looked like a tumor on his head. Anyway after his 9th month he was sick for 3 weeks before one morning He was greatly struggling to get up and breath. Then he started to jump up to get air in a circle, it was very unusual and definetly not normal. After an hour he just couldn't bring himself up for air and crashed into rocks on the bottom in a circle and finnally died. :'(I will miss him forever and He will always be in my heart and I will never forget him. He was soooo sweet and a great joy.
