Quigon will live on in our hearts

Quigon died peacefully this morning after a week-long battle with something...I hope to figure out what it was someday. Quigon was a wonderful friend, always ready to "play", always excited to see people, always curious and alert and very, very happy.

We take our little friends for granted sometimes - they are so quiet, so undemanding. Enjoy every minute of your pets' company! I have 5 bettas, 2 dogs and 2 cats but nothing can fill the void that Quigon's loss has created.

when i discovered healthy betta, i was desperately searching for answers about quigon's sudden illness. since he has passed on, i am hoping just to increase my general betta knowledge so i can be a good betta mom, not "just" anotherbettamom...

most of us have gone through this process. even very healthy fish only live a couple of years,so it's inevitable. but i appreciate knowing and hearing from others. there's something so helpless about fish though - we live in completely different environments, yet we sort of need each other and i definitely miss my little guy, even though i never got to hug him! weird...
