Sweet little Bernie passed away this morning. sef is just devastated. She worked so hard to save him.....please keep her in your thoughts. Thanks for all your support for her. Brian.

Brian: Thank you for letting us know. We were all pulling for him. The first thing I do in the morning when I arrive at the office is to check on how Bernie is. I saw your posting and I guess I knew what is was about. I didn't want to open it. Bernie has become very special to all of us on the forum and even though we never knew him, he will be missed. RIP Bernie  sef: You and Bernie are in our prayers. It is a sad day for all of us, we came to love him like he was one of our own |

Oh poor Bernie, and poor sef We all know he's comfortable now, and no longer suffering, but the pain of the loss is so fresh I know that's not helping much. We all had such high hopes that the little fighter would pull through.  ::Hugs:: sef, you are both (all, including Brian) in our prayers. What a sad day. |

I'm new here but since I found this place I've been following little Bernie's story and quickly became attatched myself! He's in all of our hearts and I'm sure he knows how hard you fought for him!

Our *deepest* thanks to all of you. This was a very difficult loss, but your thoughts and prayers are helping us through. I can't adequately express what that means. Our Bern was a tough little fellow, with a tremendous determination to live despite everything he went through. I miss my little "Bernie-Bern" tonight... sef |

He really was the little fighter and you did so so much to make him comfortable in his last weeks. He was lucky to have you and I'm sure he was a happy betta with all of his love and care.
