well bad news. Kermit didn't make it. He died this morning at about 8:30. I know i did what i could but it still doesn't seem fair or right. his meds should be here today. i am going to use them on stirfry, he's in better shape but still a sick guy. and since i'm still not 100% sure what i'm dealing with (gram pos or neg) i'm going to run the m1/m2 combo. he took a turn for the worse yesterday and got severly bloated and started pineconing. i gave him a salt bath. Which he absolutly LOVED. it was the happiest i'd seen him. Ever. But the night was a tough one. He was fine at 5 when i checked on him, and fine at 7:30 but ultimatly lost the battle. i have cleaned out his little tank and made sure everything is sterile. I then rearanged all the fishies into "new" homes. My two healthiest got 2.5 gallon tanks. My healthy, although a geezer who doesn't swim much (just old not sick) got a 1.8 gallon tank Nemo is in his 10 and happily living life. stirfry (who is still sick) is in a one gallon under observation until meds arrive (soon I hope, supposed to be today). i now have 2 spare one gallon tanks hmm, wonder what i will do with them? I'm so sorry about Kermit. That's awful. Dropsy is a terrible thing and most don't survive. You did everything you could and thats important.

I am sorry about Kermit. We all know how tough it is to lose a pet. But remember that you gave him a much better life than what he had in the squishy little cup in the store!

That really is too bad that you lost him Jess. At least you kept him happy until the end..
