Joey was the brattiest of all my fish. He refused to touch flakes and would only eat pellets, and even then would only eat them on his good days. A month ago there was some white stuff growing on his head, but he lived through it with some light meds. After that, he rarely ate anymore...towards the end he would usually TRY to eat a pellet but spit it back out for some reason. He had his good days where he would eat lots and his bad days where he couldn't eat or didn't want too. He started doing the same thing that Marlin was doing before he died (floating vertically) and he turned a pale green (usually he was a dark blue). I only had him three months, and even though he was a giant pain, I will still miss him.

It's funny how sometimes you love the brats the best. "We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle." I'm so sorry for your loss.
