Goodbye, Zeta

My sweet little Zeta lost his battle with fin rot the other day. He had been struggling for nearly a month. Some days I thought he was getting better, only to have him look worse an hour or so later.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has offered me help and advice throughout the time he was sick. Zeta was my first betta, and at times I felt uneasy about what I was doing. Everyone who posted helped me, and possibly allowed Zeta to live longer than he would have without the advice I received.

I think most of us have experienced the feeling of not knowing exactly what is best for them when a betta is ill. Sometimes you wish they could just shout at you from inside of their tank what was the matter.

I'm sure Zeta wouldn't have traded you for anyone else though. I'm sorry to hear that you lost him.
