Hello, I'm new to this board and I would like to say RIP to my little fishy Noel. He was a great betta. I loved him dearly. On thursday I will make a place for a new fishy in Noel's fishy bowl. I couldn't bare to keep it empty. Noel was my first and only betta. As loving him so I now love bettas and hope to have more in my life. Please reply. Thanks

I havent been on the board in a LONG time but im back and its sad to say but i only had Ben for a few months and he passed away 2 days ago. I guess im gonna get another betta then. I dont think i did anything wrong taking care of Ben. I think that he was the oldest betta at the petstore because he was also the largest. Im gonna get a smaller betta this time.

I'm so sorry you lost him You're probably right about his age - even in "good" fish stores bettas are nearly a year old in many cases. I hope when you get a new guy you'll visit and let us all see him
