Charlie past away this morning  But he's been sick for a long time and just couldnt get over it so I am kinda glad that he's not suffering anymore. |

I'm sorry for your loss, mandymarie. It is somewhat of a relief when they die if they've been sick for such a long time and not improving at all but it's still so difficult knowing that they tried so hard to get better . |

I'm sorry you lost him mandy. I know Charlie's situation was challenging for quite a while. I agree though, when it was getting bad towards the end and he was suffering, it was probably for the best. I know he was special to you though and he did live a nice long life.  |

Thanks everyone, when I first noticed it I started balling, and Justin (who usually hates my betta obsession) offered to take me to get a new betta but I still have 5 very healthy little guys and decided that I would just use his tank to get my other two out of bowls. I hope to get a Charlie Jr. someday but will probably wait until our boy is born and grown a little.
