My first betta, which I've had for a whoping 11 days, died last night. Mostly it was because of my ignorance... I got him by suprise, and didn't have what I needed to take care of him properly. Also, some misinformed decisions I made compounded the matter. Experience is a hard teacher, but his lessons are not soon forgotten. There is a much longer post on the matter here... I welcome opinions so I can avoid honest mistakes. healthybetta.proboards19.com/index.cgi?board=smalltanks&thread=1109207629&action=display&start=30Sorry I couldn't have done better Linus Philip

Philip, I'm sorry you lost Linus . But, IMHO, Linus' life was well lived and important if for no other reason than you learned SO MUCH from him. And although it was only for 11 days, remember that for those 11 days Linus got to live in a comfortable environment, not a teacup/shot glass sized world.
