my poor little Meanie passed away this afternoon from swim bladder problems. he was my first and only betta and i had him for nine months. he was a beautiful royal blue with little red fins. he loved to flare at toys and swim aound like a snake, pretending he was a real meanie but he was a dear little fish. he fought to live for a long time but his suffering is over now. i wish i could have helped him more. good bye Meanie, we will miss you.

I am truly sorry you lost Meanie It is hard to watch them suffer, but I'm sure he knew you were trying to help him, and you kept him as comfortable as possible. I firmly believe our fish understand that we care for them. You are a great and caring betta owner and I hope you'll consider giving another little guy a home soon.  |
