Dory, my daughter's betta who has lived with me since Christmas, died yesterday of unknown causes
He was fine yesterday morning, eating well and playing, then when I got home from work he was gone.

Dory was small and lively and cheerful, a beautiful steel blue in color and very classy looking. He dealt with college students' erratic hours and made friends quickly when he joined my menagerie. He was at least 2-2.5 years old, possibly closer to 3.

He is already missed greatly. RIP, Dory. We love you.
