We lost Kelso yesterday Such a beautiful guy, such long flowing fins, never a moment of ill health until the end. No fin rot, no ich, no internal issues, just a great, good-natured, friendly guy. Not sure what exactly got him, but he did have what appeared to be swelling around the swim bladder region for about 2 weeks. I don't think he was very uncomfortable until the last couple of days, and even then he swam around and was interactive...but we both knew the time was coming. Up until his very last days, Kelso tried hard to be a good sport, even when he couldn't do much except hover on his plant or on the heater, he always had a teensy bubble nest going When we got Kelso, we named him after the Ashton Kutcher character on the 70s Show, because he was "man pretty" and didn't always seem to be the brightest bulb in the chandelier ;D We got him in January, 2004, and he was quite fully grown...a big boy with beautiful fins and as we got to know him, an even more beautiful attitude . Even though I knew it was coming, I still miss him so much. We're going to bury him this afternoon. RIP, Kels. We love you, you know.

I'm so sorry that Kelso died . It sounds like you had some wonderful times with him. At least those times will last in your heart.

I am so sorry for your loss. It sounds like you might have picked the right name for him. He was man pretty. That 70's Show is one of my favorite shows.
