I'm sure that they would probably do fine together. I have a 75 gallon tank which holds about forty females and 12 otto cats, the females get along with the ottos great. I highly recommend these little guys, they're really cute, and great at cleaning up the algae in the tank.
The betta in your icon is very pretty. Quite an unusual looking guy huh?

When you talk about otto cats what kind of catfish are they exactly? They are not corys, right. I am interested in finding out more about them but can't bring up anything in the search engine under otto cat. Thanks!

Doofusmom,
I have a cory ponctatus in a tank w/neon tetras. He's peaceful, and as a bottom feeder (entertaining to watch him "comb" the substrate), cleans up all the leftovers from the neons' meals (they're messy eaters). I also feed him a portion of an algea wafer every other day, which he loves! Some say that corys do better in pairs or more, but mine is a lone ranger and is thriving.
I'm planning to move him into a 5 gallon tank (when it's done cycling) with one betta boy - we'll see how that goes...
