We lost my beautiful Lazarus.
One morning he had a swelling that I thought was constipation, so I fasted him that day and the next and was going to try feeding him a bit of pea on the third but he was dead that morning. I didn't know what had happened as it looked like his insides came out so I took his body to a vet and found out that he had a tumor and there was nothing I could do. I did not know tumors could grow so quickly to rupture the skin like that. The vet did say it is rare though and probably had something to do with his advanced age.
Lazarus was such fun to watch and play with, I miss him like crazy.
I now have just the 2 now as I haven't found another one I want since I lost Cliph. I think I am going to just enjoy the 2 I have for now, you never know when I will find the betta I just have to take home, but haven't met him yet.

He was a pretty boy, and I know personally how painful it can be to lose a betta after having them for a long time. Your in my thoughts and big hugs to you.
