It's pretty sad when you're too busy to even post a memorial to your fishy friend Sunny was fine on Thursday night...I went to bed at midnight, went to feed everyone at 6:30am and there he was on the bottom No suffering, I hope, but I have no clue what happened. He wasn't swollen or pineconed, acted perfectly normally right up til the end, ate well, everything as it should be (or so I thought). At any rate, I'm glad he didn't linger with some debilitating condition for weeks, but it's so puzzling... Sunny will be missed. We (my son, really) named him Sunset because his coloring was deep crimson with touches of gold and white in his finnage, and he quickly became Sunny because of his cheerful, easygoing personality After Schuyler's death I moved Sunny next to Vi, and they got along very well. Now I've moved Vi next to Moonie, as they're my last two survivors RIP, little guy.

I am sorry that you lost sunny abm. It sounds like he was a gorgeous fish, at least it sounds like he didn't suffer. Hugs go out to you and your family for your loss.

In an odd course of events, I may be filling my empty fish tank(s) rather soon, and also filling the voids left by recent deaths (Sunny, Schuyler, Pentecost....etc. ).... We're having a women's dinner at the church where I work tonight...the theme is "Living Waters" and I just learned that many of the ladies are choosing to decorate their tables with living beings, i.e., FISH . So my boss will be giving me however many gouramis she ends up getting tonight (thank heavens she's not buying them until just before the dinner, so they'll only be with her from around dinnertime until tomorrow morning) and I told her if anyone else seemed not to have a plan to adopt their table decorations, to put them on my desk.... So, tomorrow I will probably be scrambling to find a way to house a few new friends at least, I'm hoping to be in that situation.

that's so sad. It's a tragic mystery really...it seems like it would be comforting to know what happened. Was sunny old? I guess it's "nice" to know he died without any pain, although you would rather have him alive. *sympathy is swimming your way...swimming...swimming...*
