Most of you have wonderful pics of your babys...how do you do it? Share some of your secrets! I wanna know. ;D I am putting pictures up of all 13 of my babys...and it will help with one who is sick. So I can get help for him...But, I'm proud of them all and wanna show them off! So, please...do tell. Thanks!

Since our betta buds won't sit still and smile for the camera, the best thing to do is put them into a smaller container while taking pics. This way they can't swim around as much or move away as quickly. It also works best if the container has straight sides, round bowls or jars cause distortions in the pictures. You also need to shine a bright light on them from above and take photos without a flash.
These are the only ways I can get good pics, otherwise they just look like a tank with a colored blur in the middle LOL.

Wow, I don't go to nearly that much trouble. Mine are pretty social, and as soon as I put my finger near the tank, swoosh! they're on it. So when I put the camera near (my camera has a less than 4" distance setting), they hover near. Then, it's just a matter of timing and keeping their attention. I get a lot of bad ones (advantage of a digital camera), but when I get good ones, I end up *really* happy with them. I sometimes use a flash, but I take the picture on an angle, so it bounces off farther down the tank.
