Thought I'd add some of my babies. I hope this works.

Simon and Bubba will be put into the new tanks today and I'll take more (and hopefully better) pics of them. Got Bubba January 23 as an early birthday present. Got Simon February 3 as an eary valentine's day present (after I was told I couldn't get another one...my hubby comes home with him and a betta kit). Bubba's easy going and loves to flare. Simon loves to dance and started to flare a couple of days ago. He's pretty demanding about food....he actually jumped twice when I didn't give it to him fast enough.
Brandy - we got her last summer...it was the Saturday of that wonderful blackout we had. Apparently her owner couldn't keep her and drove from Toronto with her. She wishes it's always treat time and demands loudly when she knows it close. She's about 5-7 years old.
Jake - we got him three years ago after Henry died. Ray was extremely lonely...wouldn't eat or sleep much and always looked for Henry so we got Jake. We were told that he'd hide when anyone came to the pound and that we were the first people he came out for. He's about 20 lbs of muscle. He's a talker...sounds like Julia Roberts (think of that scream/yell she did in Sleeping with the Enemy..and most of her early stuff...a kind of 'whoa') and Sam Kinnison combined. A real big suck and always getting grief from Brandy (she hates him). He's 6-7 years old.
Ray - the mama's boy. He's the only cat we've gotten from a pet store and could fit into a large kleenex box. He's always bugging me...climbing on me, whining at me, biting me (he thinks it's little love bites not sharp teeth bites), trying to eat my hair, won't let me read, etc. He loves his dad but dad's not the mommy lol. He's 7 years old.
Angus (blond hood) & Owen (brown hood) - we got them over the summer before the blackout. They like to run around, play fight, eat, sleep, hide under blankets and pee on you (a supposedly good sign that means you're accepted). They'll be a year old in April or May.
Elliott - we had to put him down 5-6 years ago due to cancer. He was 15 years old and my soulmate. I got him at the pound. He would've been put down since no one wanted him because he was loud and talked a lot (part siamese and we think part russian blue), but after he bit my finger and than licked it better...well...lol.
Charlie - we had to put her down 4 years ago due to cancer. She was 17 years old. She was a stray that hung around the building we were in at the time. She hated men due to being abused by one except for my husband and father-in-law (and only because he gave her steak lol). I won't say she hated me, but she wasn't as close to me....well...she did become a lot nicer to me when she got sick and it made up for all the times she wasn't.
Henry - he died three years ago...2 days after Christmas. We don't know why. He was fine all day. After my husband got home he just lay down and didn't look right. He got really sick and died in my arms. There was absolutely no time to take him to the vet and he wouldn't have made it if we had tried. He was 20 lbs... a real tom cat. Amazing attitude...well...after he attacked me a couple of time when we first got him and I had to hit him hard to show him who was boss. He'd fall asleep on you and if you wanted to move or get up you had to either stay where you were or move him.
Tilly - my in-laws dog. She hated me the first time we met. She tried to bite my ankle but got a mouth full of jeans. I worked my backside off getting her to like me and it paid off. If I didn't greet her as soon as I walked in the door she'd go after me. I'm not quite sure how old she was when she died...only that she was pretty old.
Corwin (blond hood) & Brand (black hood) - my husband brought them home as a surprise one day. A guy he worked with got a female rat and wasn't told she was pregnantand they were 2 of the babies. They were 1 1/2-2 years old when they died and I believe they got sick due to bad breeding/genetics. It's one of the problems with buying hooded rats. The genetics are really messed with to make them that way and unless you get them from a breeder you never know if they're a product of in-breeding unless the store you buy them from gets them from breeders.
