I bought 4 new females today and put them in the same tank (first time for me). Here's two pics of them:
Emma is by the glass on the left, Phoebe is the dark blue one in the middle, Janice is below Phoebe, by the flower petal (you can only see her tail), and Rachel is the light blue one in the right corner (she is pretty pale looking there, her real color is a lot prettier)
Phoebe terrorizing Emma. I think Phoebe is the Alpha Female. When I put them in the tank, she and Janice began 'fighting' and were hitting each other with their tails. That's stopped now and Phoebe seems to have the run of the tank and will flare at anyone who passes her.

I was reading about your woes with hierarchy and poor Rachel. 
I hope you can sort it all out. Do you like owning females? I have thought about it, but am undecided. 
Yes, poor Rachel. My mom says she is doing better now that she's on her own. I am probably going to set up the spare 10 gallon tank and let her have that to herself. I might add some cories to the tank, since I love those fish now and want them in every tank lol. And she seems pretty timid so I think she would do okay with them.
). My bed is right against the bar so she fell under the bed. My dad said she is okay though, just fought him a bit when he tried to pick her up. And he said that when she got back in the tank, she turned into a b*tch and bugged the other two, so I'm sure it was Phoebe!
