This is my boy Bone, when we rescued him, he was very sick and we didn't think he'd make it through the night. But he's the strongest I've every had. This is Flash. He's a different color in every picture. Depending on the light he can be blue, green or even red.

Nice guys you have there! I really like Bone's pale coloring. I would love to see a full body shot of him if you have one!

Sure: this is him checking out his new Anubias. This is another one of Flash, when he tried to eat a dead ghost shrimp. Gave mama a heart attack. Had to dislodge it from his mouth. Bad bad boy.

Wow, Bone is really beautiful (if that can be said about a boy fish), and I love his light blue color. Flash is nice too. It's cool the way he can look so many different colors.

I love Flash....but I have to ask...how would one dislodge something from a Betta's mouth? I could never get anywhere near my Gilbert....the only time I did was when he somehow lodged himself under a marble and I had to lift the marble off of him.

One would arm themselves with tweezers and a cup. Only one would never be able to catch their little betta in a 10 gallon tank and one would then be relieved that betta finally spit it out on his own accord after 5 minutes of pure panic.

Your boys are gorgeous. I especially like the one pic of Flash showing his multi-colors.

Bone REALLY suits his name, and Flash is the fish of a different colour . They're both really different and handsome looking. Do you breed with them? -Flash

No. I don't breed. They were rescues and with so many more out there who need saving I'm going to put off breeding for a while. I might try when I'm home a lot more... many years from now.

Hi ACKislander! I was just looking through the pictures and your Bone looks very similar to my Little Boy Blue. I was wondering are his gill covers black too? It looks like they are in the closer up picture. Little Boy suckered me into buying him with his. Laura

Flash looks a lot like my Simon. I can never decide what colour he is because it changes depending on light.
You've got some beauties.

Yes Laura, he does have black gill covers too. It's amazing because my boyfriend bought him and he was all white and yellow because he was so sick. We knew he was ill, but we didn't know yellow wasn't his normal color. we named him bone because of that color. Then after nursing him back to health, he turned bright white with blue fins. We had no idea.
