Hello peeps! :) I am completely brand new here, and at the urging of a friend I'd like to show off my new guy. Sadly he does not have a name yet, because I waffle at giving names until the poor things are several weeks months old (I live in fear for any child I have. I'll need the nine months!). Anyway, I have a lovely friend down in Maryland who announced that her local shop looked like it had fish that were not quite the typical pet store fare. She very wonderfully picked up one for me, and then kept him for a week until I could drive down to get him and bring him home #^^#. Sometimes he looks like a very pale tan/chocolate, and sometimes he looks yellow. But I am in love with the fins :D~. Of course, the only thing I can say for sure is that he's a crowntail. If anybody can give some thoughts on what his coloring might be called, I'd be very interested to see what people think! Anyway, without further ado (larger images linked from the smaller): Thanks for looking! :) Talia

Whoa!!! . I am a new to the Betta craze myself however your baby should be entered in a contest. What a beaut!!! You've gotta breed this one. If you're up to it that is. You would have no problem selling them. If you could part with them. Lisa My boys Rama and Boe (Rambo)
