I've never gotten a betta from Marianne (BC Bettas) but she's all right in my book. She offers her bettas first to the members of her website. She prices them so people get good value. She breeds bettas of unusual colors. With certain strains like Mustard Gas, she doesn't gouge the prices that other breeders have. She has a nice following and is doing well at the shows. She comes close but doesn't really breed bf's. She specializes in multis. Some are almost bf's but are usually not blue-based.

Oooooohh! and Aaaaahh! Vertigo is one gorgeous boy. I especially like how the color on his tail starts light, gets darker and then is tipped with the steely-blue (at least that is how the pic is coming out on my PC!) Congratulations on Vertigo. |
