Some new pics taken today (nevermind the algae, the ottos will fix that for me): The colisa couple and a ram (always out of focus...): One of the ottos: The rasboras (hard to focus...) and the female colisa:

not really, not really... too many things still to grow and others to stop growing... It's only been set up for a couple of weeks, and it's nicely on its way to being established, so yes, it does look good.

I was surprised to notice that at least the "ugliest" part of some glasses is much more clean now (half of the back glass for example). There's still a lot of algae, but for a day I'm very surprised with the difference. There are 4 ottos and sometimes each one takes care of a different glass, but they are still liking the back glass (for obvious reasons) and the left side the most, where the natural light comes from and it's where supposedly the new algae starts growing from.

you'll find that the ottos won't make much of a dent in the algae on the front of the glass...they are chicken and prefer the back glass because its less "active" I have 4 in my 29 and I still have to wipe algae off the front of the glass during cleanings.
