Here's my cutie new female I got a few weeks ago now. Her name is Pip, short for Pipsqueak.

Ah! twins! She has longer ventral fins though compared to my girlfriends fish, that's for sure.

I like Pip! She looks almost identical to my "Cammy". Do you have her in a tank alone or with other females? I have 3 in one tank and they seem to get along great although Cammy seems to be the queen of the tank. ;D

Yeah I think she might just be reaching 1 inch now. But her ventrals are still quite tiny. my picture here is pretty recent. Thats kinda weird actualy that my gf's fish has very tiny ventrals while yours has nice long ones. Though her bottom fin looks abit bigger then yours for now. (though this might have been a shot of when she was attempting to flare) Kind of interesting to compare fish looks and growth and what not. Ah! twins! She has longer ventral fins though compared to my girlfriends fish, that's for sure. Yeah, she's a cutie too. I think I remember hers is fairly small still? I've been debating setting up a female tank for a while, and you may have just helped convince me! (granted, I probably didn't need much convincing ) I love the color variation in her caudal fin. Pi

I keep telling myself to wait before I get another tank to get a few females, I really need a new couch first, but all these beautiful girls are making it hard! lol

Thanks everyone. She has so much spunk and is more interactive compared to my males. Since she’s small enough to fit behind the heater, she has decided she likes to swim in circles around one of the suction cups, which is just adorable. I like Pip! She looks almost identical to my "Cammy". Do you have her in a tank alone or with other females? I have 3 in one tank and they seem to get along great although Cammy seems to be the queen of the tank. ;D I just have her in a tank by herself with some java moss and hornwort which she likes to swim through all day. I've been debating setting up a female tank for a while, and you may have just helped convince me! (granted, I probably didn't need much convincing ) I love the color variation in her caudal fin. Uh oh, you’re convinced now? Her body has a subtle green shimmer to it, but you can’t really see it in the picture.
