These are pictures mostly for briggs from the general thread. these are pictures my daughter took in the past few days. This is a red kilifish, biggs you can see why I was shocked to see your picture. Its uncanny LOL This is a sparkling gourami, their tiny, this is an adult and is only 1/2 of an inch if he stretchs. These are rummy nose tetras This is an albino paradise fish This is my daughters mud dog. He's our most interesting aquatic pet. Brie's had him for about 6 months. this his his new tank. If you look in the bottom left corner you can see his back and tail. He's is about 17" long. She got him form a science teacher at a local high school. And this is some who is definitly not a fish, she is my constant companion and sits in my lap the whole time I sit here at the computer. I thought she deserved to be introduced since I tell her all about all of you. Her name is Dani and she's a four year old miniture dauchsund.

briggs, yes they are all in the 5 gal. they are so small that there is no problem. Yes the pleco is in there to but he is also a baby and will move when he grows. I'll take a picture of her tank and post it for you to see tomorrow. The Mud Dog eats oscar chow, and another type of carnivore food that that I can't think of right now. We tried feeder goldfish, but they became his pets LOL.
Thank you Pi, I'll pass it on to my daughter.

Does the paradise fish and gourami fight? They are both surface air breathers so i wonder if they ever squabble? It looks like mr paradise fish was in a rumble or something, from looking at his back fin, unless that's normal?
Haha.. that little gourami.. funny little guy.

LOL no briggs the don't rumble. That is actually a trait of the paradise fish. They have really interest fins. I saw a normal colored one the other day with a pin tail. It was beautiful. Also the paradise fish is about twice the size of the gourami. He's almost an inch long.
Racheal, my daughters other hobby is photography and it sure shows when she takes pitures like these.
Is my dauchsi's picture not showing up to anyone else. It was fine yesterday but now its gone. How do I fix this?

If you keep pairs of males they will have some aggression, so I've read trios are better.
Other hten that they are quite peaceful and are best kept with peacefull fish because they are shy eaters.
