I haven't gotten my betta yet, but my other fish I've taken several pictures of. :} photobucket.com/albums/y251/shannax/Beware, there's 23 pictures there! They include my two dalmation mollies, one lyre-tailed and there.. mutt maybe? Lady and Lecher. Then there's my five tetras. Maybe you'll see a ghost shrimp in the background.

I like the mollies Are you raising ghost shrimp in your "shrimp tank"?

Haha. Yeah, I had a pregnant shrimp which I was going to let have her babies in that old hermit crab cage, but something went wrong. I don't know if it was the sponge or what.. I tried looking up breeding of ghost shrimp and ghost shrimp in general on the web and no where could I get something on how you're supposed to keep them (filterless, with a filter, with a heater, what temp. to keep the water). So she died and it kind of made me sad. :/ The rest of my ghost shrimp are all in my 10 gallon tank.
And yeah, it's going to be a he! :} I can't wait to get him tomorrow.

It's a Penguin Bio-Wheel Mini. :] I just moved some stuff around in the tank, most noteably being that peice in the background of the shrimp. My camera's battery is out though so no picture of it yet. And thanks! I should probably say that thing the shrimp is on is an air pump I was trying out. It got /his/ approval.

How often do you feed your tank? Those mollies look a bit hungry.

I /did/ feed them twice a day, and sometimes I still do, but my tetras are starting to get /really/ /really/ fat. :/ I don't want them to overload on food. It's a dilemma I have.

I think we all get to the point where we need to do a little compulsive buying. ;D Xiao Lan, female betta (from Walmart):

What a nice healthy girl. She was from Walmart? You must have the best Walmart. Interesting tank. What is she in, can you tell us about the setup?
It looks like she's guarding her castle. So cute..

Wow! She's beautiful! The female I got from WalMart was terrible - she had chemical burns and was in an inch of gross water. She's fine and happy now.
I like the name! Sooo cute!

Oh thanks! I love her already! I had her in an ordinary critter cage (I've had hermit crabs in the past) because my mom threw away all the other tanks we had. I was going to keep her there, but I noticed this morning the water was already foggy. 12 hours in the thing and already dirty! So I went out to the store today and bought a Mini-Bow tank, complete with filter and light. She loves it. And indeed she likes that castle. It has a hole she can go through from front to back and room inside that she can move around. She sleeps in it. It's just a one gallon acrylic tank. I have some orange (bright!) gravel, a silk plant, and two live ones plus castle. I thought that would take up a lot of the tank, but she has half the tank left of empty swimming room. ;D I can say that.. Walmart doesn't have the healthiest betta, here, but they have the prettiest betta. Most of the betta are all in dirty, blue water, but they're well fed, look disease-less, and are AMAZING colors. I see opaques, marbles, and other colors (oranges, cambodians, etc) there all the time!

A blue female is a good find for a local store, at least compared to what I see in my area. It sounds like you get a nice variety of stock in there. She's pretty cute!

I have three new girlies. I only have pictures of two, because Biv never stops moving long enough for me to take pictures! Roy (the girl who loves the camera): Ariette (the shy):
