Nice crowntails! Elrohir's my fav. The one's on the way are gorgeous. Is that a yellow plakat? That's some caudal spread on him. Nice oranges.

Is that a yellow plakat? That's some caudal spread on him. Nice oranges. that is indeed a yellow plakat  i had to wrestle with myself when deciding whether or not to get an orange. i finally decided on yes, and then the breeder offered me a second one for $5, so now i'm getting two ;D |

And I thought I was addicted!! ;D You have such a variety and they are all gorgeous! I'm so jealous that you are able to find such gems at Walmart and Petco. No fair!!  Our Petco and Walmart have some beautiful and interesting colors, but they are always veil's. I have nothing against veils, but just was looking for different varieties. I love the opaque female. I got a female last night at Walmart. She is so tiny. She is a cambodian with blue marbled fins and huge black eyes. Really cute! She is different from any I've seen there. Ella |

Triton looks exactly like my Bleu when i 1st got him!! triton was actually sold to me as a female, and identified as a male accidentally when i posted a photo of him asking about his tail type he's one of my very first bettas. he was just a tiny little thing when i got him, and now he's a big bad blue fishy ;D |

I have nothing against veils, but just was looking for different varieties. they're not all from walmart or petco, although some of them are. i shop in a variety of places, and online. some of my more interesting petstore finds have been from local mom and pop stores, though. (aranince came from a pet store on the way home from work, and pegasus from one about an hour north of me.) our local walmarts always seem to carry gorgeous females (that's where all of mine are from currently), but the males are pretty blase. the petco near my house has terrific colors, but most are veils. in each shipment the usually seems to be a delta or two, though, and sometimes crowntails. i got a gorgeous crowntail there once, i miss him  |
