Well, I was at my LPS the other day picking up some pet food, and I just happened to take a look at the bettas they had. Most of them were just plain blue veil tails, or pure white ones, then I found this guy. He was just sooo handsome, I couldn't resist! very nice looking! We have one that looks a lot like him at the pet store that I work at, and I've been eyeing him for a while.

Yeah, most of my bettas are blue/red, and this guy just really stuck out to me. As it turns out, he is one of my most active bettas, and is constantly darting around his 3 gal tank, trying to flare at his neighbor. I am really glad that I bought him! I usually stop myself when I have an urge to get another, but I just couldn't this time |

I like him a lot! They had one like him at my lps one day when I was browsing. I told my daughter about him and we decided to go back the next afternoon and get him. He was gone and they haven't had one like him since then. That's probably good now because I'm not really in the market for another fish....seven are keeping me pretty busy! ;D

He's pretty cute. I especially like the white area that runs through his caudal fin. It gives it a neat look. |
