as much as i love my imported fish from thailand, i still enjoy snagging pretty finds in the local pet shops. i don't always intend to breed, so lovely pet store bettas are more than fine as my pets. here are the ones i picked up yesterday: a very skinny plakat (i saw him in the store several times, he was fatter before)  a HUGE girl  an oddly pretty veiltail  an ethereal crowntail  |

I wish that my pet stores sold crowntails!! They are my favorites. I love that Plakat also ;D

usually it takes me lots of debating before i buy a fish, but when i spotted seraph, i grabbed the little glass bowl he was in and said, "OOH!! MINE!!!!" and wandered off to find someone to bag him ;D
