Welcome to the beginning of betta care! Your new guy looks pretty nice. Does he have a name yet?

I've never seen a tank quite like that. Does it have a snap down lid? Is this something you found at a pet store? It looks like it's made of glass, but the details are hard to see on my computer.

Rachel, I'm pretty sure that's just a larger critter keeper without a top on it (hence the low water level)

You are correct, just a large critter keeper! Oh and his name is Mick, and he has made me want to get some more lol. They're just so darn pretty and...obsessive lol.
