I got a little bored of my guppies and decided to trade them in last weekend. I picked up some fish that I kept when I was younger, and so far they're settling in nicely. s94779296.onlinehome.us/website/Fish/mytank/mytank.htmlRight now the tank has two honey dwarf gouramis, three neon tetras and three glo-lite tetras. I'm considering getting another of each of the tetras but I like how things are right now =)

Nice pictures! The aquascaping of your tank is pretty cool. I like the positioning of the rocks and the sloping of the sand. I hope the fairly new anacharis in one of my tanks will look like that some day too. The new fish are fun and I especially like the gouramis. They're so tiny and cute! So are you glad you made the change?

No it's very nice. With the nice plants and the aglae, especially the sand. I'm just too lazy to go out and get some. BTW just in case I want to switch to sand, would I have to do a 100% water change? What kind of sand do I need?

They're spending most of their time exploring and don't bother the tetras. When I saw them in the tank at the store they were busy nipping algae off the fake plants. They're trying to do the same in my tank, except I have far less algae.

I now have a water lily growing in my tank, and another one just sprouting The lily is a really neat looking addition to your tank, especially with the red coloration to it! How long did it take to get that large once the bulb sprouted?

How long did it take to get that large once the bulb sprouted? It's only been about three weeks. It's between stage 1 and stage 2...in another week or two there will be less leaves, and more lily pads.
