Big Jim

Okay last week my local Walmart was having a clearance sale on some of their tanks. So of course I had to buy one. Well anyway I saw this crowntail today and had to have him. This pic does not do his coloring justice, and for some reason he did not want to flair but I will send a better pic if I get one. I brought him home and I put his bag beside Little Charlie's tank and to my surprise this fish is huge compared to Little Charlie so I named him Big Jim after my fiancee. My fiancee is a very tall and stocky guy and I just thought of him when I seen how big this fish was.

Well I had another betta about four years ago, and I named him Little Jimmy after my fiancee, but sadly Little Jimmy was sick when I bought him and he died two weeks after I bought him. This crowntail looks healthy so far so I think he will be around for awhile, and I do think that my fiancee is more flattered by the Big Jim name than the Little Jimmy name.
