how do you get your otto to stay alive?mine die in 2 weeks.

I havent had my oto for two weeks, so hopefully I don't have bad luck ;D I have heard that they are very sensitive to the quality of water though. Water changes and PH/Nitrate tests are essential. Also they eat the algae on the side of the tank and plants...but they still like a pellet here and there I read up a lot on them before I spent the money. how do you get your otto to stay alive?mine die in 2 weeks. What were you feeding yours after they ate all the algae Randi? I've had mine well over a month and give them some veggies (they like their spinach cubes) and algae wafers.
