The petstore i've gotten all my non betta's at had special ordered some otos for me, and when I was there waiting to get them, I saw this girl and after a couple days I had to go back and get her She doesn't have a name yet... any ideas? Not that I plan on trying to breed them any time soon, but If I wanted to, I imagine she and Neptune would have some pretty lovely fry v Neptune v

She is very pretty. Her belly looks a little large though, has she shown any signs of illness?

no... color is good, nothing growing on her, appetite is good. She was only in the store about 2 days before I bought her, so maybe she pigged out a bit before.

she is very gorgeous! Beautiful color. I love females...they seem to have real personalities, even more so than some of the males I have. I am very envious as I've never seen a female crown tail before, where I am it's hard to find females at all. If she were mine I'd call her Eve, as she looks a real temptress! Good luck with her.

Eve, I like that. Eve or Lola.
They must be more coming from the pet store breeders. Someone in another group I'm in showed one she got, and it was also a crowntail. The place I got her at, I've never been there right after a shipment. They keep the female bettas in with fancy guppies, and highly turbulent water so when I've seen them, most of them have died or been ill
