I Resisted ( just barely)

I had to go to the pet store on Saturday because I needed some meds for one of my females who jumped out of her tank and wanted to get some frozen blood worms. I decided to drive a little farther to my favorite store. They had tons of new bettas and I just had to look. They were all different colors. This is the store that puts them in the glass bowls and color coordinates marbles in the bottom and ribbons around the top of the bowls. It really makes the colors stand out.

Anyway, there were 2 peach colored veil tales which were different. There was also a little crowntail that was white on the body and went into aqua blue and pink fins. He was so gorgeous and I really wanted him. I kept thinking about it. I had told myself no more fish. I forgot to pick up a thermometer when I was there (probably on purpose) and had to go back today. My daughter was with me this time and she loves bettas too. I showed her the crowntail and she agreed he was pretty, but she loved a small steel blue veil tale. He was nice, but since we both liked different fish I decided to be strong and walk away. Usually I'll say no and she will easily talk me into more.

Oh well! I should really stop looking at the fish. I just can't resist! ;D

loool i know how u feel its crazy how addictive we can get to bettas!!! my god only a year ago i didnt think i would realy be into bettas but now i wish i had a room full of them!!!!! lol and what u saw sounds realy pretty i wish i can get bettas like those here and no0o0o0o dont get them u dont waaaant them lol <---trying reverse psycology

Yeah I tried that too, but my brain kept thinking of the empty tanks I have and where they could be kept. I even have some extra decorations. Too tempting!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL wow ur realy good at holding on! loool im trying to find any excuse to go to any petstore and checl out their bettas i have an empty tank now but still i cant hold myself plus they r realy cheap here so loooool i might come home with 2 or 3 :Plooool

right now i only have 2 but im planning on puting some built in lights on a shelving unit i have and make it my betta corner! which will hold about 10 i hope! i saw some pretty boys the other day and im going to see them again today and see who i am going bring home

what about u? im sure u have much much more!
