www.georgiaaquarium.org/index.aspxTo the layman it sounds big, but on the scope of public aquariums, this one will be by far the biggest. After having been to Sea World Florida, the Baltimore Aquarium and Tennessee Aquarium, I can safely say that this could have me occupied for days. I was impressed by the size of the 86,000 gallon reef tank at the Tennessee aquarium when I saw it, but the largest one here is going to be 6.2 million gallons.

Wow, that's pretty impressive! Too bad I don't live close enough to go check it out. Abm - have you heard much about the opening locally?

Every other news story covers the aquarium...it's awesome! We can't wait til it opens....except that there's so many people with tickets for the opening, it'll probably be Christmas break before we go But if I can I'll take and post pics ;D
