AmyII is so jumpy and skidish its like she doesnt like me and i never did anything to her..i am not abusive at all im really sweet and kind to her and she jumps when i say hi i dunno what her prob is but i bought her at walmart he might have been shook up but i wanna know why is she so jumpy and scared when im quiet?

Anytime you're trying to figure what's up with a betta, you must first check the basics: Is her water clean and the right temp (aroudn 78-80), are the parameters within norms for pH, nitrates/nitrites/ammonia (all should be 0), water hardness, etc. If any of these are out of whack, your first step before considering a behavioral problem should be to correct her water conditions. It's her world, all she knows.
If you've checked and all is well, then you can begin to try and figure why she's not acting "happy". Some bettas are simply more active than others.

well she is odd i dunno her temp is prolly around 76 ...im just afraid she doesnt like me...i am sweet to her i dunno why she dont like me....ps...when the overposter sticks out if they dont breed do they get egg bound?
