So...ever dream about bettas?

Seriously, last night I dreamed that I was going somewhere (I think I was in Florida and was going somewhere else) and I had to move two bettas with me. I think one fish in the dream started out as a goldfish, but ultimately it was two bettas, one a lovely silver-white with blue fins (not unlike the female I bought today--influence?) and the other a sort of piebald color you don't get in real bettas. I remember worrying in the dream about taking them as carry-on on the airplane and going through security!

Is this a sign I have too many fish? (If so, I'm in trouble because I responded by going to get more.) Anyone else seeing bettas in their dreams? (Now if only I could find the male I dreamed about....I could start a fantasic strain with him and Titania...)

Ah, betta dreams..

I had one dream about bettas a while ago, as well. Mine was that I walked into the kitchen where my tanks are and there were multiple males all in one tank. I had no idea how they had gotten in there, but it was a very frantic dream as I scrambled to find glasses or bowls to put the extra guys into. I didn't remember too much of it, but I was in a panic when I woke up.

A sign we're obsessed with bettas? Probably! ;D

So far my Betta dreams have been about rescue and release. Rescue from the arch villain, WalMart, and release into fields of rice paddies.

I've had a couple weird dreams about running out of aged water and having bettas flopping about in dried-out tanks, but I thought it was just me...

We really need an audio feed so you all could hear a tune called, "Wet Dream" by Kip Addotta (you know, just for the Halibut...) - it's hysterical & entirely fish-related!

Yes, I've had some betta dreams, mostly about water changes - or maybe I was "sleep-changing!"

I find it funny that I happend upon this thread today, becuase last night my boyfriend woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me that he had just had a dream about bettas. He does not own any, but has recently started paying more attention to mine.

I've had a couple of dreams about bettas in the past, but I can't believe that it is starting to ware off on him!

I dreamed about mine last night, but it wasn't a very pleasant dream. They were all dead from salt over doses.
