How do i get the little icon next to my name? I want to have a cool icon too! Lol  . |

To insert an avatar (the icon), you would click on the 'profile' link at the top of the page. There is a section called 'Personalized Picture' where you can choose one of the default pictures if you wish to. Or you can host your own picture and then simply insert the url link in the area 'I have my own pic.'

If you want to host your own picture, I highly recommend using www.freepichosting.com. It is a very reliable site and best of all it's free! I have had great service through this site for the past couple of years with eBay auctions, etc. What you would need to do is take a digital picture or find a picture on the internet that you like. Set up an account with freepichosting or similar site that allows external linking and then after you have hosted the picture through that site, it will give you a URL that you insert into the profile page here at HB. If you choose to use Freepichosting: It will install an icon on your desktop. Double click on it and login. Find where the picture is saved on your computer and drag the file into the freepichosting window. Click save album. Click publish. Under the picture, click on the Edit/Get Info. - it will automatically copy the URL for you. Next, log into the HB message board. Click to edit your profile. Check the little box "I have my own Pic" and paste your url into the line to the right of it. Click Change Profile and you should see your picture appear!
