How is plakats pronounced? I went to the pet store to order some and they never heard of them but they have heard of betta-like fish and their name is pronounced pla-chacks and i think it may be the right way and i said it wrong?

I have always said it sort of like it is written plack-at, but I don't know if that is the right way. I have never heard it spoken.
Plakats are bettas that are closer to the wild type than most store bettas. They have shorter fins, and are sometimes misindentified as female bettas.
