Iv,e been feeding my betta trofical fish food.Bettas are tropical right,or are they?I need to know real fast.

Here's the fast answer. Bettas are tropical fish but don't feed bettas tropical fish food (flakes). Get him some real betta food (pellets). Hikari/HBH whatever you can find. Frozen bloodworms are good as well. Bettas are carnivores and don't like most vegatable matter. Most bettas won't eat flakes. Uneaten flakes degrade water quality if not removed.
ps. there's information on HB regarding feeding bettas in general care. There are also some threads that contain useful feeding instructions. Pellets are just the beginning, frozen and live are better. Ooops gotta go, I have to feed my bettas.

Ok starlight.I do have betta bites(pellets) for bettas.But they cause digestive problems.Ill try to get to get bloodworms.

They never did when I used to feed them. To be safe soak in de-chlored water for a bit before feeding. Watch how many you feed and they should be fine. Frozen food is better and more nutritious.
