Shimmers died today. I just came home and he is dead. Yet i like to thank everyone who has helped me thought all his illnesses and my questions. He didnt even live one month....
Also does anyone know if there is a local breader in the sydney, Nova Scotia area. I like to get a shimmers junior but i dont want to buy one from again wallyworld... but they are the only place that i now that sells betta here

P.S) i found a pet store that claims to sell fan tailed betta. Im going on firday after class to look. She is selling them for $8.99 cdn. How do i tell if they are actually fan tails and if they are worth that price? How do i tell if they are healthy?

Oh I'm so sorry
Remember though that the way you cared for him was not the reason for this tragedy - I lost a wallyworld betta, Quigon, after less than a month also, and it took me awhile to accept that the way he had lived before I got him was to blame.
Be sure to thoroughly disinfect the tank, etc. if you plan to reuse them.

I'm so sorry...I just lost one of my fish and know how hard it is to let them go. I think your idea about a breeder is good for a chance at a healthier fish.
