I asked people how they named their bettas but I don't think I ever explained my names
...Harold, my first betta (RIP) was named for a viola solo that my daughter was performing the week I got him
...Pentecost is red and was named before I got him (I work in a church
...Anakin and Quigon (RIP) were named for Star Wars characters by my son
...Mighty Man has huge long fins and when I found him in his Wallyworld cup he was in (I am NOT exaggerating) less than 3/4" of water! His fins stuck out! He's my Mighty Man just for surviving, and now thriving
...Taz earned his name for the "Tazmanian Devil" routine he puts on when flaring...he goes crazy!!!
...Tomahawk is blue and red, we are Braves fans and my son named him.
...Max is just Max. I searched high and low for a suitable name...and Max came out of thin air!
...Moonunit is the fish in my profile pic - one of you commented on how celestial he looks...I was working towards all sorts of lovely, ethereal, mystical names...but he's a Moonunit ;D
...Kelso was named for the character on the 70's Show who is great to look at but always crashes into stuff and does dumb things...on the way home from the fish store he kept crashing into his bag, trying to escape...it's a good name for him
